Screen Display and Timeout Configuration
WalleCube Smart UPS is equipped with an intuitive LCD screen, allowing you to track system status at any time. To balance information display with energy-saving needs, the system provides multiple display modes and flexible screen timeout configurations.
Screen Display Modes
The UPS screen display is divided into the following three modes. You can switch between them by short-pressing the physical button on the device or via the app:
1. Bright Screen Mode (Standard View)
Displays real-time input/output voltage, current, remaining battery percentage, and current load status. This is the most commonly used monitoring interface.
2. Screen-off Mode (Power-saving View)
The screen enters a low-power state, showing only the most essential status icons or turning off completely (depending on the specific model and settings) to reduce light pollution and save energy.
3. Device Information Mode
Displays basic information such as the device’s serial number, firmware version, and Bluetooth name. This is mainly used for after-sales support or identity verification during firmware upgrades.
Custom Screen Timeout
By default, the screen will automatically enter screen-off mode after 5 minutes (300 seconds) of inactivity. You can customize this time based on your actual usage habits.
Operating Steps
- Connect Bluetooth: Open the “WalleCube” app and connect to your UPS device.
- Enter Settings: Click Advanced Settings on the app’s main page.
- Set Time: Find the Screen Timeout Setting item.
- Submit and Save: Enter your desired value (in seconds) and click submit.

Rules and Recommendations
- Time Unit: The time unit for settings is fixed as Seconds.
- Always-on Setting: If you want the screen to never go out, you can set the time to a very large value (such as
99999), but for screen longevity, it is recommended to keep a reasonable screen timeout. - Quick Wake-up: In the screen-off state, just short-press the physical button on the front of the device to wake up the screen immediately.
