ZSpace
This article will introduce how to configure WalleCube Smart UPS on the ZSpace background and instructions regarding Remote Power-on.
Model Selection
WalleCube Smart UPS supports the full range of ZSpace models. Please choose the appropriate power interface kit based on your model:
- ZSpace Z423: Please choose the DC5521 Kit.
- Other Models: Please choose the DC5525 Kit.
System Installation and Configuration
- Enter System Settings: Log in to the ZSpace background and click System Settings -> UPS Management.

- Enable UPS Function: After clicking UPS Management, if the UPS is not recognized, please click the UPS Switch button on the right to enable the function.

Common Troubleshooting
- Unrecognized Device: If it is still not recognized after enabling, please wait 1-2 minutes. If there is still no response, try restarting the NAS.
- Interface Limitation: Some ZSpace models only have one USB interface that can recognize external UPS.
- Z2 Pro Users: Please be sure to plug the UPS signal cable into the USB 3.0 interface on the NAS.
Remote Power-on (WOL)
Regarding Remote Power-on (WOL) for ZSpace, please note the following points:
- Official Support Status: Currently known that the official ZSpace system does not support WOL remote wake-up function by default.
- Special Cases:
- ZSpace devices with SSH permissions enabled can attempt to enable WOL support through specific system-level operations, but due to hardware bottom-level limitations, not all models can succeed.
- This type of operation is unpredictable and is generally not recommended for ordinary users.
- Alternative Solutions: If remote starting is required, it is recommended to use relevant power management functions in the official ZSpace app (if supported) or keep the device set to automatically restart after power restoration (if hardware BIOS supports power-off compensation).
